History

Terry R. Lee incorporated his four person operation in July of 1996. Since then, Terry R. Lee Contracting Company has continued to grow into the premier site and utility contractor in the Low Country and Coastal Empire.

Built on principles of honesty, integrity, dependability and open communication, Terry R. Lee Contracting Company continues to maintain these principles in our daily operations. Our customers know they can depend on us to get the job done right and on time. We have worked hard to build a reputation that brings our customers back time and again and our name is one both developers and owners know they can rely on.

Our management team consists of a diverse group of highly skilled people with education in many different areas as well. Our construction and project managers are onsite at every job every day. We have created an outstanding team that treat each job with the time and respect it needs, whether the job is big or small.

Terry R. Lee — President

As the founder and President, Terry has over 45 years of experience in the construction industry. He received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business in 1971 and immediately immersed himself into civil site work. Through years of dedication and professionalism, he has established himself as the premier contractor in the Southeast. He has gained the respect of local contractors, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, neighbors, business associates and developers alike. Terry has extensive knowledge of everything that is happening on our jobsites as well as in our office and continues to oversee all aspects of daily business operations.

Our Management Team

Terry R. Lee, Jr. (Bobby) — Vice President

Bobby is a licensed Professional Engineer in Georgia and has over 15 years' experience in the engineering and construction industry. As a PE, he has experience in the project design side and extensive CAD experience. Bobby manages all underground utility construction including water, sewer and storm installation. He is involved in all daily operations, project management, estimating and planning.

Nick Lancaster — Vice President

With over 15 years experience in field operations, office operations and estimating, Nick manages all site work, excavation and clearing. Nick has significant CAD file and AGTEK experience and is involved in daily operations, project estimating and planning.

Tina Batey — Controller and Corporate Secretary

Tina received a degree in Accounting from Georgia Southern University. She has over 23 years of experience in the accounting, management and human resource industries and oversees all accounting operations and human resource functions for the company. Tina also serves as the Corporate Secretary and is responsible for the integrity of all official documents and governance changes within the corporation bylaws.


David Walker — Senior Estimator

With over 25 years in the construction industry and both field and office operations, David is in charge of all bidding, planning and proposals. He has extensive CAD and AGTEK experience and an unprecedented understanding of design, cost, scheduling and competitive markets.




Mindy Johnson — Office Manager

With over 25 years in accounting, office management and human resources, Mindy works to insure our everyday office functions run smoothly as well as oversees all of the company's accounts payable, equipment management and miscellaneous billing. She works hand in hand with project managers and superintendents in the field to insure daily field operations are also running efficiently.
